Lovely selection of fresh & local produce! Impressive pastry case with items from Might Bread. Delicious smoothies! Gets a little busy on the weekends, especially after Sunday yoga class on Race Street Pier. Recommend going early for best selection, quicker service, and to avoid all the wannabe content creators.

Riverwards is without a doubt the best local grocery shopping experience in the city. Not only is the quality of what they sell better than Whole Foods, but also the pricing. They update their produce seasonally and have such unique finds, like pink celery and purple snow peas. I started coming here about a year ago when I started doing Pilates nearby and it honestly changed my grocery shopping experience in the city. I also love supporting a local business so that’s a plus. Did I mention the smoothie bar?! It’s genuinely incredible and very well priced for the quality of what you get.

Riverwards smoothies are not only aesthetically appealing but they are delicious! Do they come at a high price tag (almost $10 with tax)… yes. It’s to be expected for the area and type of market it is. The sassy lassi was delicious, refreshing and balanced. I would definitely come back for another one in the future!

Riverwards is a great store with lots of unique food choices! It’s a beautiful location with lots of natural light. However, the prices are very high. For two smoothies, it was roughly $17. The smoothies were good, but the chocolate almond butter one is gross.

Super cute with plenty of fresh produce and a nice selection of chocolate. Our main motive for visiting this market was the smoothies one was a Build your-own smoothie and the other one was the Pinky Swear smoothie was very good although the cup wasn’t decorated like how it was in the picture. The barista was super duper nice !
